The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales & Licensing professional to support a number of transformational programmes of work taking place within ITV Studios and the Global Partnerships division.
You will play a crucial role in providing the subject matter expertise of the end to end business processes impacting our Global Sales teams across Finished Tape, Formats, Brands & Licensing and Channels.
Your primary responsibilities will be working alongside the Senior Business Officer supporting the implementation of a new Salesforce CRM, Rights & Licensing platform and a Contract Lifecycle Management tool.
You will work closely with the wider global teams across all business functions in validating requirements through the configuration of these platforms with a focus on future business processes, roles and responsibilities.
Main responsibilities
- Working closely with the Senior Business Officer, provide media industry expertise and insight around sales & licensing processes and requirements, in order to guide and influence critical design decisions to help deliver ITV’s strategic vision for the Sales Operations Solutions Programmes of work including Sales & Licensing, Salesforce, Contract Lifecycle management.
- Assess the proposed changes to ITV’s sales processes to ensure they fully meet the requirements of the business, highlighting any areas of potential risk and proactively making recommendations for alternative options where appropriate
- Regularly engage with programme Business Leads and other SMEs from across the business to review and share ideas around proposed new ways of working and solution designs in order to ensure a joined up and holistic approach to delivering the various programmes of work
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage the new technology platforms being implemented as part of the SOS programmes to improve on current ways of working and to deliver greater efficiencies across the end-to-end sales process
- Coordinate with wider business teams in London and across APAC and US Regions to gather and verify requirements and to validate proposed areas of change and improvement.
- Provide Sales & Licensing expertise and insight at project meetings and workshops, highlighting current business challenges and pain points and work with programme teams to identify potential solutions
- Work with various project teams to review documentation, providing feedback and updates where necessary
- Act as a key advocate for the programmes, regularly engaging with key stakeholders and future system users from across the business to provide project updates and to champion the new solutions
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Expertise in Sales & Licensing in a Commercial Distribution business having worked for a US Studio or major UK or European Media Distribution Company is essential.
- Previous experience working as part of any related projects for Salesforce or Sales & Licensing would be an asset for this role.
- High level of organisation with the ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focussed on listening and understanding business teams and pain points and working with the various programme teams on platform solutions and processes
