The role…

The RTR Accountant is responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and timely management accounts on a monthly basis. You will be required to deal with more complex tasks and any escalated queries which may arise. There may be occasions where you will be required to have flexibility in your working hours to meet key deliverables due to a potential increase in workload during busy periods.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and posting of journals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Payroll reconciliations
• Intercompany reconciliations and corrections
• Set up Projects, perform eventing on Projects, review and analyse Projects postings if required
• Support month end and year end close activities
• Support business and audit reviews as required
• Liaison with sub-ledgers in GFO and the wider finance teams.

 

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)...

• Qualified accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Must have experience within an RTR position 
• Must have experience using G Suite
• Experience in writing process notes/ operating procedures
• Experience in use of Oracle Fusion or equivalent ERP

 

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)...

• Solid foundation of accounting skills with experience of working in RTR/GL/financial accounting role
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Ability to work as a team player
• Experience in using accounting software and excel
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
